For users of our AccuMAX™ Digital Radiometer with XS-555/L AccuMAX™ Luminance Sensor Detector comes an exciting upgrade from Spectro-UV. Working with our customers, we have implemented an offering that incorporates a Sensor Guard into the XS-555/L Luminance Sensor Detector. This Sensor upgrade is perfect for technicians using the XS-555/L for testing of Computed Radiography (CR) Monitors In Accordance With ASTM-E-2033-17 Paragraph 6.1.8. The upgrade enhances the performance of the sensor while taking Monitor readings.

The inclusion of the Sensor Guard provides key advantages:

• Enhanced Performance: The Sensor Guard provides for even more accurate and reliable readings ensuring optimal performance. The Sensor Guard provides for a tighter seal against ambient light. Decreased ambient light reduces the variability of readings, especially relative to the low contrast resolution readings.
• Surface Protection: The Sensor Guard acts as a softer interface between the sensor and the monitor and reduces the likelihood of scratching.
